Vissent, LLC Launches Destination Foundation's
"Tails of the City" E-mail Campaign
San Mateo, Calif., June 10, 2002 - Vissent, LLC successfully launches
the “Tails of the City” e-mail campaign for Destination
Foundation on April 29, 2002. This charity auction and gala event
includes celebrities, artists and local politicians. Utilizing Vissent’s
VSX™ Technology, Destination Foundation’s promotional
movie clip and two 360º (interactive) views of the art, donated
by local artists and celebrities, were sent virtually through e-mail
directly to the invitees. Each recipient was able to view the multimedia
without opening any additional software.
A successful 40% open response rate indicates that the campaign
was well received by Destination Foundation’s guest list.
“The response to the e-mail campaign was overwhelmingly positive.
The number of guests that attended the charity auction and gala
increased by 30% from last year’s event due in part to Vissent’s
assistance,” says Tim Hepworth, founder and executive director
of Destination Foundation.
